On an August day, 2025, I was awakened by a text message asking if I had seen my friend Bryan. We all went out looking for him, but it soon became clear that we weren't going to find him.

We learned later that day that he had taken his own life, and it hit our community very hard. Piper and Bryan were some of my favorite people. Bryan loved the same kinds of shirts that I did. We liked the same music. We had been together in the Wonderlounge since I had joined back in 2015.

I have a bunch of photos of Bryan, and his passing has led me to start using various tools to start labeling photos. You might try looking for things tagged @bryansloane to see some of them.
